Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum and stumbled upon the case of Armand Clyde Vernon while researching missing persons in Oklahoma. One detail that's been kind of puzzling to me is the gap between when Armand was last seen and when he was reported missing. It feels pretty unusual for there to be such a long delay. I’m curious if anyone else has any insights on what could cause such a delay. Was it just a disconnect with family or friends? Could there be some factors we aren’t seeing? I know some folks choose a more isolated lifestyle, but two and a half years is a long time. Hoping the police have some leads or tips that haven’t been made public yet. Thoughts? Would love to hear what others think.

Hey everyone, another detail I came across regarding Armand Clyde Vernon's case is about the delay in reporting him missing. It's puzzling to me and really raises some questions. I mean, he hadn't been in contact with his family for years, and yet it took until June 2020 for his mother to officially file a missing persons report. I'm curious if anyone's come across any information on why that might be the case. Was there any indication that he had moved away or chosen to live off the grid? It seems quite odd for someone to be out of touch for so long without someone raising alarm bells sooner. Maybe someone here has some insights from similar cases—what could have contributed to such a long delay in filing the report?
