I've been following the David Heard case closely, and I can't stop thinking about the ripple effect it must have had on his family, especially his son. Losing a parent is devastating, and to know it's because of such a senseless act makes it even worse. I heard David was a pillar in his community, always willing to help others, which makes this crime hit even harder. What's so haunting is the trust he may have had in people around him, considering it seems like those involved weren't strangers. It’s chilling to imagine the betrayal he might have felt. I hope his family finds some comfort and justice through the ongoing investigations. The legal process can be so grueling, and I can't imagine what they’re going through. Has anyone heard about support services being available for them, or how they’re doing now?
