I've been following the case of Rakim Rashad Hawkins Sr., and it's just so tragic what happened. I can't help but think about his family, especially his young children, who now have to grow up without their dad. It's absolutely devastating that something as innocuous as a dice game could end in such violence.
I read that Rakim was involved with Lighthouse Ministries, which makes me wonder about the impact his death has had on his community and the church. It sounds like he was a significant part of it, and losing someone like that can leave a void that's hard to fill.
Has there been any movement at all on finding the person responsible for this? It’s worrying that no motive was identified, and the person just fled the scene without a trace. Someone out there has to know something. My thoughts are with Rakim's family and friends as they continue to seek answers and justice.
