Has anyone looked into the trash route schedules from 1982 in Columbus? I know it’s been a long time, but when Kemp mentioned the remains being disposed of in trash bins, I wondered if mapping out the collection routes or dumpsites at the time might offer any new insights. Considering advances in technology and forensic techniques, could it help narrow down potential locations where the remains might have been taken? I'm curious if potentially overlooked details could be revisited or if anyone has tried to find the right angle on this.
Something that's been bugging me about this case is the lack of any forensic evidence tying Wickline to the crime scene beyond what's been mentioned. I know Theresa Kemp's testimony was critical, but I'm curious if there were any efforts made to detect smaller biological traces at the time, like hair or fibers? Forensics back in the early '80s was so different compared to today. It's chilling that the blood and tissue found were enough to convict without the bodies—no doubt it speaks to the brutality of what happened, but there must have been more thorough investigations afterwards, right? Anyone have insights or know about any additional forensic details?
