Does anyone have more details on the Mobile Police Department's reward offer for information on unsolved cases from 2016, particularly Demetrius Clemons' case? I was looking into it and it's distressing to see there's been no progress despite the $5,000 incentive. My heart goes out to his mother, Latricia. Her strength in speaking up and advocating for justice is truly incredible. But it’s frustrating when these rewards don’t lead to any tips. Has anyone noticed if these monetary offers often actually help advance cold cases? Or is this a common issue where they don't bring the results we'd hope for? Would love to hear thoughts or any similar cases where a reward led to breakthroughs.

Hey everyone, I recently came across the unsolved case of Demetrius Clemons and have been thinking a lot about the lack of focus on the reward offered by the Mobile PD. With a $5,000 reward up for grabs, it's hard to wrap my head around why no one has come forward yet. I wonder if there's more that could be done to publicize this – more media attention, perhaps? I can't imagine how tough it is for Latricia Clemons, living with unanswered questions and no closure. It's like the city has forgotten, even though the pain is very much alive for his family. What do you all think could help nudge someone to speak up? Maybe a renewed spotlight on the case? I'm hoping we can brainstorm some ideas in this community because it feels like we need to keep Demetrius' story alive until justice is served. Sending all my support to his family.
