Hey everyone, I'm new to this case and still trying to wrap my head around why it feels so senseless. I can't imagine how shocking and terrifying it must have been for the woman who witnessed the incident and had to make the decision to run for her life through the woods. Her bravery in eventually reaching out to authorities probably played a crucial role in bringing some form of justice for Joe Nathan Thomas Jr. My heart goes out to Joe’s family, who had to endure the loss of a loved one in such a violent way. I'm thankful she found the courage to speak up—it couldn't have been easy given the traumatic nature of what she witnessed. Has anyone heard how she's doing now? I hope she's found some peace in the aftermath of all this.
