Has anyone else been intrigued by the mysterious blue and white 1959 Chevrolet station wagon linked to the Lula Griffith Briggs case? It's interesting how two separate witnesses spotted a woman who looked like Lula in the back of the car, slumped over, on the same day she vanished. I've been digging into old records and trying to piece together anything about this car and the unidentified man seen with it. It's odd how everything seems to line up with a kidnapping for ransom, given her son's wealth from oil investments, but the trail just goes cold. The fact that no ransom note appeared and the police records were destroyed in a flood kind of makes it feel like this was almost meant to remain a mystery. Anyone else have theories on what might have happened to Lula and how the car and mystery man play into it?

Hey folks, I've been diving into the Lula Griffith Briggs case lately, and something really intriguing has caught my attention about that blue and white 1959 Chevrolet station wagon. Two witnesses spotted a woman fitting Lula's description in the back, "slumped" over, which raises so many questions. Given her heart condition, could Lula have already been in distress at that point? Has anyone come across any more detailed descriptions on the man seen with the car? I know he asked for directions to the Ohio River and seemed out of place. Could he have been using that car for other questionable activities before or after Lula went missing? The use of a station wagon seems pretty telling – like it could be used for transporting someone discreetly. And with those West Virginia plates, I keep thinking there might have been an intention to cross state lines. Would love to hear any theories or thoughts about the vehicle's significance and its role in this baffling case!
