Has anyone else been thinking about the lack of forced entry in Juanita Tripp's case? It's been stuck in my mind ever since I first heard about it. For someone to commit such a terrible crime without breaking in, it makes you wonder if the perpetrator was possibly someone she knew or even trusted enough to let into her home. I can't shake that unsettling thought. The way the community described her as such a kind soul makes this all the more difficult to comprehend. It's terrifying to think that trust could've been so devastatingly misplaced. My heart truly goes out to her family and friends who have had to navigate this nightmare during what should be a joyful time of year. It's a stark reminder of how much more we need to focus on protecting our senior citizens and being vigilant even in the places where we feel safest. Has there been any follow-up from the police about how the suspect might have gained access? Any news of this would bring a bit more understanding, if not peace, to us all following Juanita's story.
