I've been following the case of the Hughes and Floyd family disappearance for a while, and something that really bugs me is the blue van Robby was seen packing. Does anyone know if the van was ever recovered or if there were any records of her trying to dispose of it? I find it strange that a whole vehicle can just vanish without a trace. You'd think someone might have either spotted it along the way or perhaps it turned up somewhere suspicious. Also, the mysterious woman identified as Robby's "mother" is such a huge piece of the puzzle. Surely someone local would have recognized a new face hanging around the neighborhood back then. Anyone heard any whispers about this part of the case?

I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the mysterious woman who vanished with Robby and the kids. The fact that Robby introduced her as her mom, while Robby's actual mother says she hadn’t been to North Carolina in years, is just baffling. Who could this woman have been? Went through some old threads and saw theories ranging from family friends to complete strangers possibly involved with Robby's life at the time. It seems like a crucial piece of the puzzle that’s often overshadowed by the other aspects of this case. Could she have been someone helping Robby escape an unhappy situation, or is she a potential threat? I wish there was more info on her identity – it might just be the key to understanding what happened to this family. Any new insights or theories on who she might have been?
