Shortly after 2:30 a.m. on February 2, 2009, gunfire in the 3400 block of 13th Place SE in Washington, D.C. left 22-year-old Antawn Proctor of Oxon Hill dead from fatal gunshot wounds. The Homicide Branch of the Metropolitan Police Department opened an investigation and appealed to the community for information about who was responsible.
Despite those efforts the case went cold. No arrests have been announced and no suspects have been publicly identified. The MPD is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. If anyone knew Antawn, saw activity around 13th Place SE that night, or has information that could help, please contact the investigators handling the case.
