It's surprising how little information there is about Luis M. Vargas's disappearance, especially given that he went missing from such a busy area in Manhattan. A whole 26 years later, and there's no significant breakthrough? It makes me wonder about the prevalence of underreported cases in urban areas. The fact that Luis has diabetes and may have needed medical attention is concerning. Perhaps someone might recall seeing him seeking help or at a pharmacy around that time. It's frustrating not having more to go on, but it might be worth looking into local hospitals or clinics records from back then. Could someone have overlooked a vital detail?
