I came across the old case of Joseph Rodriguez while reading about New York's historic unsolved mysteries, and something about the telegram just doesn't sit right with me. The fact that it mentioned a "doctor" is quite puzzling. Could this suggest Joseph might have been taken due to a medical reason? Did he need medical attention that his family wasn't aware of? Or, was this just a calculated attempt to throw investigators off by adding a layer of misinformation? Also, the telegram being signed is intriguing. It seems like whoever sent it was either confident enough or perhaps didn't realize the weight of signing their name. Has anyone looked into whether the sender could have some connection to Joseph's father, given that he was deported and perhaps didn't want or was unable to contact the family directly? It's such a long shot, especially given how long it's been, but revisiting details like this might eventually lead to a breakthrough, even all these years later. What do you guys think?
