Is anyone else curious about how common it is for missing persons to have similar names as those found on burial records? I'm looking at Radu Ionascu's case, and there's a public burial record for someone with his name, but it's weird how there's no direct public link to his missing-person case. I know there are privacy laws, but it just makes me wonder how many families might be missing these potential connections because of limited access to information. Does anyone know if the NYPD actively checks these kinds of records, or should the families or advocates be doing more digging on their own? Would love to hear if anyone’s had similar experiences or advice on navigating these situations.
