Does anyone else find it increasingly frustrating that there's still no resolution in Jason Elliott's case? It's baffling how a drive-by shooting like this can remain unsolved for so long. My heart goes out to Jason's family and friends, especially knowing that he fought for his life for those eleven tough days. I imagine the pain they carry every single day, stuck in this limbo without answers or justice. If anyone has more information or thoughts on the investigation's progress, please share. We need to keep talking about Jason to keep his memory alive and to push for the justice he and his loved ones deserve.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking about the case of Jason Mandell Elliott, the victim of that tragic drive-by shooting in Birmingham back in 2017. It's been years, and it must be incredibly difficult for his family and friends not having answers or justice yet. What puzzles me is how this happened in a seemingly residential area. Aren’t there any witnesses who might have seen something, or possibly even traffic or security cameras nearby that could've caught a glimpse of the vehicle involved?
I know not every neighborhood is equipped with surveillance, but sometimes people capture footage on personal devices without even realizing it. It's so frustrating that, with technology today, we still haven't identified the shooter(s).
My thoughts are with those who knew and loved Jason. It's always hard to wrestle with the unknown and I hope that someone, someday soon, comes forward with information that can finally bring closure.
Are there any locals here who know more about the area or have similar cases happened nearby since then? Stay strong everyone.
I was reading about the tragic case of Jason Mandell Elliott and couldn't help but feel a deep sadness for his loved ones. Sitting on the front porch, a place one should feel safe, and then becoming a victim of such violence is truly awful. It makes you wonder what kind of person could do this. It must be incredibly challenging for his family and girlfriend, who now have to live with the void he left behind. I hope that the community holds onto hope for justice and that someone comes forward with information. Stay strong, Birmingham. ?
