Hey all, I’ve been reading through the discussions about La’terica Denise McMillian’s case, and something that’s been on my mind is the candlelight vigil her family organized at Municipal Park. From what I’ve seen online, it sounded like a heartfelt and powerful tribute to La’terica, bringing the community together in such a difficult time. ? The choice to wear purple was so meaningful, reminding everyone of the critical issue of domestic violence. It’s just heart-wrenching to think about the bravery it takes for her family to not only cope with their personal loss but also push for awareness and change.
