I've always found Lisa's case so puzzling. What bothers me the most is the timing of her disappearance. She left her family’s home in the middle of the day to visit a friend, something she seemed to do regularly. I wonder if anyone knows who this friend was or if they noticed anything suspicious when she didn't show up. Is there any information about whether this friend was ever interviewed by the police? With her history of leaving home without notice but always returning, this case just feels different. It seems like whatever happened, happened quickly, especially for someone who routinely returned home on her own. Anyone have any thoughts on whether her friend might hold some answers?
Does anyone have more information about the area around South 6th Street in Newark in the mid-90s? I'm trying to piece together what the neighborhood was like back then around the time Lisa went missing. Specifically, how common was it for someone to hitchhike nearby? I know she often hitchhiked on Central Avenue, but I’m curious if it was a regular thing on South 6th Street too. It might help us understand a bit more about the risks she faced that day. If anyone lived around there or has any personal experiences, I'd appreciate hearing about it. Maybe there's something we've all overlooked about the local dynamics that could provide new insights.
