It’s truly devastating to think about how life can change in the blink of an eye. I was just reading more about Jaivontavious Sellers’ tragic death, and I found something that really says a lot about the kind of person he was. At his Celebration of Life service, folks couldn’t stop sharing stories about his bright smile and how he always went out of his way to make others laugh, even on their toughest days. It’s clear that he brought so much joy and positivity to those around him. I can’t even begin to imagine the void his passing has left in their lives. It really makes you think about the ripple effects of violence; not just the immediate impact, but the long-lasting emotional scars on those left behind. If anyone else was at the service or knew him personally, I’d love to hear more stories or memories. Keeping his loved ones close in my thoughts.

It's incredibly upsetting to see a young life like Jaivontavious Sellers' come to such a sudden and violent end. I can only imagine the pain his family must be going through. I was reading about Kayonna Robinson's arrest and I'm trying to wrap my head around what could lead someone to hinder a prosecution in such a devastating case. Was it fear, loyalty, or something else entirely? It's a tragic reminder of how complex these situations can be and how they often pull in people who might not have intended to be part of such a dark turn of events. My heart goes out to all affected, and I hope justice brings some measure of peace to Jaivontavious’ loved ones.
