Hey everyone. I’ve been going down the rabbit hole with Kenneth Schock’s case and something keeps bugging me. I came across this bit about how his ID and credit cards turned up in Tracy Petrocelli's hotel room, which is wild enough. But what gets me is that from what I've read, it seems like this wasn't a priority for the investigators because of Petrocelli’s other crimes. I understand there’s a lot on their plate with a suspect like him, but it makes me wonder how often this happens in cases like Schock's. Do resources get pulled to focus on “bigger” crimes? Did they miss crucial leads because of this? If anyone has more info on how investigations like this are typically prioritized, I’d love to hear your thoughts. It seems like Kenneth just faded into the background of a much larger criminal investigation. Thoughts?
