Lester Lorenzo Jackson was found dead on the morning of Tuesday, July 7, 2009. The discovery came at approximately 9:20 a.m. in the 1800 block of Harvard Street Northwest in Washington, D.C., and the death was ruled a homicide by the Metropolitan Police Department.

The Homicide Branch continues to investigate and has publicly sought help from the community, offering a substantial reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. No arrests have been announced and authorities have not released details about suspects or the circumstances that led to his death.
