Has anyone been following Beverly Vazquez's case? I've been thinking about how young people who go missing, like in Beverly's situation, are often labeled as runaways. It's frustrating because that label can sometimes slow down the urgency of the search, even though they're still incredibly vulnerable during that time. I read a statistic somewhere that Texas has a disturbingly high number of missing youth every year. It makes me wonder if there are any new approaches being considered by authorities to handle these types of cases differently. Anything that can help speed up the recovery process would be so beneficial, not just for Beverly but for all missing teens. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
