Have you all ever thought about the fact that Robert Kenkel’s car has never been found? A maroon 1990 Honda Accord with a Nebraska handicapped license plate would definitely stand out, right? Not to mention it was specially modified for his use, so it's not like it could just be pawned off easily without someone noticing.
I've been digging into some old records, and I can’t help but wonder about the possibility of someone taking or hiding it. With the car being such a crucial aspect of his mobility due to his disability, the fact that both he and the car vanished simultaneously seems...conspicuous to me. Anyone have thoughts on why the searches turned up absolutely nothing regarding the vehicle? Could it lead to uncovering more clues about his disappearance?
Hey folks, I've been digging into Robert Kenkel's disappearance from Douglas County, and I can't stop wondering about the broader search efforts. I know they searched the river, but does anyone have info on whether there were extensive land searches in and around the park, aside from the riverbanks? Given his reliance on the motorized scooter and car, you'd think a thorough sweep of the nearby areas would have been crucial. Plus, how on earth does a whole car just vanish along with him? I've heard of underwater currents carrying things away, but it's still so baffling considering a car would have left some trace eventually, right? Any thoughts or theories? Curious to hear what others think about this part of the case.
