In the cold of a Nebraska winter, 54-year-old Robert Kenkel disappeared, leaving behind a life and a family who loved him. On the morning of January 14, 1994, between 9:30 and 11:15 a.m., he was seen for the last time, sitting on a dock at N.P. Dodge Park in Douglas County. Robert, known to his loved ones as Bob, was a man dealing with significant health challenges.
