I've been going through the details of Max Church's case, and something that struck me was the lack of info about any searches that might've been conducted back in Omaha when he first went missing. Living in a community that values supporting one another, I wonder if any local volunteer groups or search parties were organized at the time. If they were, maybe someone out there stumbled across something they didn't realize was important. It always seems to me that local involvement early on can make such a difference in these cases. Does anyone from the area remember any efforts like that, or maybe even participated? There could be folks who aren't aware they saw something useful and if these searches were publicly acknowledged, it could jog memories. If anyone has thoughts or insight, sharing them might help bring some new energy or directions to explore, even all these years later.
