Something that's been on my mind about the Eda Lynn Karr case is the role our community and neighbors play in these tragic situations. Could there have been warning signs folks missed or overlooked? It's bewildering to think that someone could be suffering so intensely right next door, and no one notices enough to speak up or investigate further. The fact that Eda was struggling with medical issues makes it even more heart-wrenching. Did anyone notice she wasn't receiving proper care or regularly seen outside? Maybe more awareness and willingness to intervene could prevent situations like this in the future. Thoughts on community responsibility?
