Just stumbled across this case again, and my thoughts are with Maurice Morris's family and friends. It’s tragic to see such violence in places meant for relaxation and fun. I noticed that Club Onyx, now Blu Nightlife Lounge, went through quite a bit of scrutiny after the incident, and I can’t help but wonder how a place can so significantly alter its atmosphere post-tragedy. It sounds like the council believed in the changes the club made and decided not to pull their license. Has anyone been to Blu Nightlife Lounge since all of this happened? Does it still carry the weight of what happened there? Such a tough situation for everyone involved.
