Has anyone else been following the Christopher Everett Preuitt case? I've been digging into it and something keeps bugging me about the campsite found on Tadpole Island. From what I’ve read, it seemed like a pretty rough spot to set up camp—thick brush everywhere. It makes me wonder, why choose such a difficult area? Was he an experienced outdoorsman who liked a challenge, or could he have been trying to stay hidden for some reason? The fact that no one has mentioned seeing or hearing anything unusual on the island during that time seems odd to me, too. If anyone has any thoughts or more info on what kind of gear he had with him, I'd love to hear it. Could provide more insight into what he was planning out there.
