It's been a few years now since Justin Twymon's tragic death, but I feel like the community still hasn't healed. As a resident of Talladega, I keep wondering how such a bright and promising young man's life could be cut short in such a violent way. It seems like there's always talk about gun violence in bigger cities, but this kind of crime took place right here in our small town. I heard from a mutual friend that Justin had dreams of making a real difference, and he was the kind of person who could light up a room with his smile. It's hard not to think about the future he won't get to have and the impact he could have made. It really pains me to see another life lost like this, and for the family and friends, the pain must be immeasurable. Has there been any progress in the investigation? I know people are scared to come forward sometimes, but justice for Justin feels like a step towards healing for everyone. Hoping for more community outreach and dialogue about these issues.
