Just stumbled across this case of Kama Rae Wilkinson and can't help but wonder about the significant delay in reporting her as missing. Almost a year and a half! I get that some adults choose to go off the grid, but what really happened here? Did the family not suspect anything unusual for such a long time, or were there other reasons for not reaching out to the authorities sooner? The delay seems like a big obstacle for investigators, and I wonder what might have been uncovered had the report been made earlier. It’s also curious that she frequented Pontiac and Detroit – maybe there’s more background on that connection that could offer clues? Would love to hear from someone local or with insight into how such a delay might impact a case like this.
