Has anyone else looked into the purchase of lingerie in Virginia's size right after she went missing? I find it incredibly strange that Frank would do this, claiming it was an "omen" for her return. Is this something people did back in the late '80s as a hopeful gesture, or is it just bizarre? I can't imagine buying clothes for someone who's disappeared without explanation. And what's even more unsettling is that the lingerie was later found in her suitcase. Was he planning on her coming back to find these items, or was there another reason they were there? This whole situation seems to have layers that just don't add up. Would love to hear others' thoughts on this detail!
