I've been following the Jermaine Barnes case since it happened in 2018, and I recently drove by the area where the incident occurred at East 5th and Owens. It's such a regular neighborhood, you know? It makes the whole thing feel more personal for some reason, as if it could happen anywhere. I can’t help but think about his family and friends, still waiting for answers six years later. I wish the Montgomery Police Department had more leads to go on. If anyone feels hesitant about coming forward, even with the smallest piece of information, I hope they reconsider. Jermaine deserves justice, and his loved ones deserve some peace. It’s a sad reminder of how easily these cases can go cold without community support. Let's keep talking about Jermaine and keep his story alive.

Hey everyone, I've been following the Jermaine Barnes case since it happened back in 2018, and something that really sticks out to me is how this spot in Montgomery, East 5th Street and Owens Street, still has this eerie vibe. It makes me think about how certain locations can forever be shadowed by such tragic events. It's such a small section of town, yet the impact of what happened there echoes across the community. I wonder if changes in the area, like more lighting or security cameras, could help prevent further violence and maybe even encourage more people who might know something to step forward. It's rough knowing Jermaine's family has had to carry this burden for so long without closure. Sending thoughts to them and hoping someone with any information will find courage to speak out soon. Would love to hear if anyone else feels the same way about these kinds of locations and what could be done to make them safer.
