Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about how special Alyssa must have been to inspire such a profound outpouring of love from her community. I recently read about how her family asked for donations to the Playground Fund at her school in her memory. This tells me that Alyssa's joy was so closely tied to playing and having fun with her friends. What a beautiful way to honor her spirit and keep her memory alive by investing in something that will bring joy to other kids, just as she would have loved. It's just such a meaningful way to focus on the positive and ensure that Alyssa's light continues to shine even in her absence. I believe that supporting her school and helping build something lasting for kids in Pine Level is doing justice to her memory. I encourage others to contribute if they can or simply spread the message about how important it is to secure firearms. No family should ever have to lose someone so beloved in this way.
