Has anyone else noticed the strange timing and circumstances around Jane's disappearance, particularly that her brother only learned she was missing from a neighbor a whole week later? It makes me wonder about the dynamics between Jane and her family. If my sibling disappeared, I'd expect to hear about it much sooner. The fact that Wylie had to drive from New Orleans to find out what was going on is curious to me. Was communication really that sparse back then, or is there more to this story? It certainly raises questions about how isolated Jane might have been from her immediate family. Maybe someone with more insight into their family dynamics during those years could shed some light on why it took so long for her disappearance to be noticed by her own brother.

Has anyone else noticed the detail about the missing pink and white gingham dress and the pink bedspread from Jane's house? It seems like an odd choice of items to take if she was planning to leave voluntarily. This combination makes me wonder if there’s more significance to these items than meets the eye. Could they have been taken as a part of staging or possibly as a trophy if foul play was involved? It's hard not to speculate when such specific items are missing, particularly items that could have easily been overlooked if someone were in a rush. Anyone have theories or insights on why these particular things might matter?
