Just came across Vickey Carolyn De Laurier's case and something about the location where they found her car is really puzzling me. Highway 313 near South Boundary Road isn’t exactly a place you'd expect someone to just pull over, especially considering how her car was left. I did a quick search, and it seems like an odd spot for someone unfamiliar with the area to choose for abandoning a car. Doors unlocked and hazard lights on gives me a strange vibe, almost like it was meant to attract attention, but why there? Could it have been staged? Were there any witnesses who noticed the car when it was first left there? If she was planning to leave her current situation with her son, does anyone know if she had confided in friends or family about specific plans or routes she intended to take? Trying to piece this together because it all feels so out of place. Thoughts?
Hi all! I've been following the Vickey Carolyn De Laurier case closely, and something peculiar struck me about her abandoned car. The location where it was found just doesn't make sense. Highway 313 isn’t exactly a usual route one would take for a quick detour, especially at night. What’s puzzling is why her car was parked so strangely and with the hazards on. It’s as if she was in a hurry to draw attention to the vehicle, but why in that specific spot?
Also, leaving her purse and makeup bag just feels off. Those are typically items you'd take if you were leaving voluntarily or even entering another car. Could it point to an involuntary stop or distraction?
I can't shake off this odd feeling about the location. Is there anyone familiar with that area who could give some insight? Was Highway 313 known for any particular activity or issues back in 2005? Maybe understanding the significance of that spot could shed light on her disappearance.
