Hi everyone,
I've been following the developments in Dennis Ray Lushbough Jr.'s case, and there's something that's been puzzling me about the location where his van was found. It was discovered in a field on Arizona Road, just near the Neosho County line, which is a little over five miles from where he was last seen camping. Does anyone else find it strange that the van was so far from the last confirmed sighting at the campsite? With the remains being found much closer to the van's location rather than where he disappeared, it got me thinking—could he have been heading somewhere specific in that area? Or was it just a random spot he ended up at after leaving the campsite in a hurry? I know the authorities have ruled out foul play, but the distances and locations involved make me wonder if we might be missing a piece of the puzzle about what happened in his last moments. Would love to hear any thoughts or local insights anyone might have on this!
It's really bothering me how Dennis's van was just left there and no one spotted it for two weeks. Arizona Road isn’t exactly isolated, and you'd think someone would have stumbled across it sooner. I live in the area, and we get quite a bit of traffic on those roads, especially with people heading out for hunting or weekend outings. It makes me wonder if it might have been moved there after he initially disappeared. The fact that it took so long just adds another layer to this mystery. On a second thought, does anyone know why the van turned up on private land? Seems like something that maybe we should investigate further.
