I can’t stop thinking about how strong Corey Bishop is through this unthinkable situation. Losing a child is something no parent should ever have to face, yet Mr. Bishop has found a way to channel his grief into something truly meaningful for the community. His retail and real estate mentoring program is just such an incredible tribute to Wanya’. Engaging over 1,300 people and helping guide them—especially the youth—really shows how much he wants to create positive change in the area. It's inspiring to see someone take such proactive steps to turn their pain into purpose. My heart goes out to him, and I hope this brings some solace, knowing he’s touching so many lives in his son's honor. Does anyone else in Birmingham know of any other community events or programs sparked by this tragedy? I'm curious how communities can come together to support each other in times like this.
