Has anyone else found it odd that the car was abandoned all the way in Compton? I mean, we're talking about a pretty long drive from Cloverdale, Indiana to Compton, California. It makes me wonder what was really going on during that time. Did Hopkins have some kind of plan, or was it just some improvised attempt to escape whatever mess he was in? And how did he manage to blend in over there and even find work at an ice cream shop? It’s like he just vanished into a different life while Jessica was left behind. This part of the case seems to be overlooked, but it holds so many questions. You'd think he'd raise more suspicion considering the circumstances. It's really baffling and just adds another layer of mystery to this whole situation. Does anyone have more details or insights about the car's discovery or why Compton, of all places?

Did anyone else find the details about the pawned ring strange? I mean, why would Hopkins pawn his grandmother's wedding ring while supposedly on a trip to get married? If this was supposed to be a romantic runaway, it seems odd to me. A lot of people hold sentimental value to family heirlooms, and pawning it the day after Jessica disappeared raises so many questions. Was he out of money, or was there something else going on? Also, considering Henderson's report about hearing loud noises from their room, could the pawned ring be linked to something more sinister that happened that night? I just can't help but wonder if that was the beginning of an escape plan or if there was another layer to his actions.
