I’ve been reading through the details of the case, and it’s just so sad for everyone involved. One thing that's been weighing on my mind is Gilbert's role as a father of seven. Can you even imagine the void left in those children's lives? From what I've gathered, he was working hard at a new job to provide more for his family. He was clearly a man trying to do right by his kids and give them a brighter future. It’s truly unsettling to think that an argument, which might have seemed trivial in the moment, led to such a permanent, devastating loss. I hope those children have a strong support system around them to navigate through this unimaginable situation. It’s heartbreaking to think about the future moments in their lives where they’ll feel his absence.
