Really puzzling situation with Jon Walton. I’ve been following his case, and something that oddly sticks out to me is the fact that all of his personal belongings were left behind. The only thing missing was a gun. It's unusual for someone to walk off without taking any essentials or personal items, yet decide to take a firearm. Was he concerned about something or someone? It makes me wonder if he had mentioned any threats or concerns to those close to him prior to his disappearance. I’m curious if anyone from Orofino has insights into his mood or behavior leading up to that day. Hoping for new leads soon.
Every time I think about Jon Walton's disappearance, I'm puzzled by a particular detail. His property had his vehicles and horses all there, untouched. With Jon being an experienced outdoorsman, I find it odd that he would have left for even a short excursion without at least one of them, especially considering he was reportedly doing work around the property that day. If he was planning to head out into the rougher terrain surrounding his home, wouldn't he have taken a horse to navigate more easily? The presence of his gun implies he may have been concerned about something or someone, but why leave everything else behind? Could he have left in a hurry or been compelled to walk away on foot for some unknown reason? It's a mystery that keeps gnawing at me, and I wonder if anyone else sees this as unusual or has any theories.
