I’ve been revisiting Diane Suzuki’s case and can’t help but wonder about the unusual delay with the search warrant for that pig farm. ? It’s baffling to me how this wasn’t prioritized, given how critical every piece of evidence could be in piecing together what happened. I know it’s been many years, but this potential lead seemed like it could’ve offered significant clues. Does anyone have more info on why it took so long to investigate there? It’s such a shame that this delay possibly hampered solving Diane’s disappearance. Who else thinks this was a missed opportunity?

Hey everyone, I've been diving deep into the Diane Suzuki case from Hawaii, and something really bugs me. Why did it take so long for investigators to search Dewey Hamasaki's father's pig farm? It’s such a critical lead, and the delay feels like a huge missed opportunity. I've read that search warrants sometimes take a frustrating amount of time to obtain, but it sounds like there was enough circumstantial evidence to warrant a swift action, especially with the blood discovery at the studio. Does anyone have insights on why this might have happened, or know more about how the justice system worked in Hawaii back then? It just seems like time was of the essence in a case like this. Thoughts?
