Marquice Ayers, 22, was fatally shot on the evening of Sunday, November 7, 2010, in Washington, D.C. The shooting occurred at about 8:00 p.m. in the 2700 block of Langston Place SE. The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the death as a homicide and the case remains open.

No arrests or officially named suspects have been reported. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible. Anyone with information about Ayers’ death is asked to contact authorities.
