I've been following Jasmine's case, and it's truly devastating to hear about the circumstances surrounding her passing. One detail that caught my attention was the bravery of Shemeka Stabler. From what I understand, Shemeka risked her own life trying to protect Jasmine and her children. What courage it must take to step into harm's way like that, especially in such a terrifying situation. It's so important to acknowledge and support the selfless acts of individuals like Shemeka who try to make a difference, even when the odds are stacked against them. I'm glad to hear that she recovered physically, but I can't even imagine the emotional scars this incident must have left. My thoughts go out to her, as well as Jasmine's family and her little ones. These tragedies really highlight the need for better ways to help those in domestic abuse situations and for a community that supports those trying to break free from dangerous relationships.
