Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic Kaloko Dam breach and came across something that doesn't seem to get as much attention. We all know that James Pflueger was a key figure in the case due to his control over the dam, but has anyone looked into how Christina MacNees, being pregnant, ties into the dynamics of this group? What happened that morning as they were gearing up for her wedding and Rowan's birthday celebration must have been chaotic.
It's just such a strange convergence of events—celebrations turning into tragedy. I can't imagine what it was like for the group, especially with a pregnant woman amongst them. Could this have affected their ability to react quickly to the disaster? It's just hard to wrap my head around those last moments and how such a joyous event took such a dark turn. Let me know what you all think about how these preparations might have impacted things.
Hey everyone. I've been following the case of Rowan Grey Makana Fehring Dingwall and the Kaloko Dam tragedy, and something's been gnawing at me regarding the investigation into the dam's failure. With all the focus on James Pflueger and his legal battle, does anyone have more details on why there wasn't more scrutiny of the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources' role here? I understand that access was denied, but isn't it still their responsibility to ensure safety regulations are followed, especially after knowing about homeowners like Pflueger who might impede their inspections? It just seems like there's this gap in accountability that hasn't been fully explored. Would love to hear thoughts or if anyone has further insights or sources on this aspect of the case.
