Hey folks, I've been following Junaliza Oroc Chappell's case for a while now, and something that's been gnawing at me is the Walmart angle. It just seems odd, doesn't it? Her husband claims Junaliza went into the store alone and never came back. But I can't help but wonder about the security footage. Did the investigators review it, and if so, what did they find? It's 2007, so I'm assuming there were some form of cameras at the entrance. Also, was anything purchased using her credit or debit card in the store? If she went in with a specific purpose, like buying travel supplies for the drive, you'd think there'd be a record. I hope that particular detail hasn't been overlooked because it could offer a tiny piece of this very puzzling puzzle. Anyone else have thoughts on this part of the case?
Has anyone looked into the security footage from the Walmart where Junaliza supposedly went missing? It seems like that would be a crucial piece of the puzzle here. If her husband’s account is accurate, there should be some sort of video verification of her entering the store, right? Or, if not—why wasn’t that in the media or public updates? It seems odd that there’s been no mention of it. Just curious if anyone might have more details on this aspect or if anyone knows whether the footage ever surfaced during the investigation. It's frustrating to think such a potential lead might have gone nowhere.
