It's frustrating to think about how easily this might have been avoided—if only cooler heads had prevailed. Gun violence really hits home in these moments; we see the pain and loss so clearly. Sending strength to his loved ones as they continue to grapple with this loss. The arrest of Xavier Davis might bring some accountability, but it’s hard to see how true justice can ever be served when a life has been taken.
