Has anyone else been following the Gertrude Snedegar case? I just read that back in July 1986, Gertrude left her purse behind at home before disappearing—which seems odd, right? Most people would take their purse if they were planning to leave voluntarily. Makes me think she never intended to go far or was planning to come back.
Plus, her daughter Brenda mentioned that Gertrude was really scared of Stephen and had left her purse at home intentionally, which is chilling. If she was that afraid, why go out with him at all that night? It seems like a loop or a puzzle piece that's missing. I'm curious if there were any close friends she confided in about her fears or plans that could add more context here.
It's mind-boggling how these things can stay so tangled after all these years. What do you guys think about the purse detail? Could there be more to it than it seems?
I've been following this case for a while, and something's been nagging at me about the timing of all these disappearances. Have any of you noticed how quickly these incidents piled up? It feels like, after Lora went missing, everything just spiraled from there, like dominos falling one after the other. What I'm trying to understand is whether there were any external pressures or events that might've pushed Stephen to act during these specific times. Also, with him allegedly being terminally ill later on, does anyone know if his health was deteriorating back then and perhaps making him more erratic or desperate? So many pieces to this puzzle, and it feels like we're constantly missing the big picture. Would love to hear if anyone's dug up any more information on these specific timeframes.
