I was thinking today about the impact Raheem's death must have had on those who knew him, especially his classmates at H.D. Woodson High. Imagine being so young and having to process the loss of a friend in such a violent manner. It must have been incredibly hard for the students and teachers to return to school after the incident. I read somewhere that Raheem was really involved in his school activities and was well-liked among his peers. It's heartbreaking to know that someone with such a promising future was taken away so soon. I really hope the community comes together and someone steps forward with information. Raheem and his family deserve answers, and his classmates need closure. Let's not let another young life be forgotten in the cycle of violence.
