I’ve been diving deep into the Rebecca Jane Powell case again, and something keeps nagging at me—how did they never locate her remains even after securing a conviction? With such serious allegations and witness testimonies pointing to specific locations, you'd think more would’ve come to light over time. Was there ever a thorough survey, perhaps using ground-penetrating radar or cadaver dogs, around Claude Wilkins’ residence or other spots linked to the "disposal"? Given that it was 1984, I'm curious how much was feasible back then compared to newer technology today. I just feel like every potential lead should’ve been exhausted, especially for the family's sake. Anyone have thoughts or insights into how search techniques from the ‘80s might have missed something?
