I've been following Penelope "Penny" Ratliff Mollett's case and something's been puzzling me. Given she was last seen at the Orlando International Airport, does anyone know if there were sightings or reports about someone fitting her description at nearby hotels around that time? It's strange that we don't have more info from the airport itself, but wouldn't it be possible someone saw her at an airport hotel or nearby location if she didn't actually board a flight? I feel like this is an angle that hasn't been talked about much. Anyone have thoughts on this or know where we could find records or witness reports from that area around April 1984?
I recently stumbled across Penny Mollett's case from 1984, and something that's been bugging me is the sighting of her metallic blue BMW 320i. Does anyone else find it odd that her car was seen driving away so early in the morning at 2:00 a.m.? I mean, who was driving it? It's such a specific time that just sticks out to me. I feel like whoever was behind the wheel could hold the key to this whole mystery. Given her tumultuous relationship with her estranged husband, I can't help but think there might have been some sort of setup. Maybe someone wanted to make it look like she left voluntarily, but who gets up and leaves at 2:00 in the morning if not for something urgent or clandestine? Just throwing out some thoughts—I’d love to hear what others think about this.
