Hey everyone, I've been following Alfredo Domingo-Sales' case since it started, and something that's been on my mind is the possible connection to his Guatemalan roots. Given that Alfredo was placed in a sponsor home after migrating, I can't help but wonder how strong his ties to his homeland might be. Could he have sought out other individuals from his community outside of family networks? It’s not uncommon for people in new countries to seek comfort in familiar cultural groups. This could be why authorities haven’t been able to trace him—if he’s sticking with folks laying low for any reason. Just a thought, but what do you all think? Can these communities provide more insight that hasn't been publicly discussed yet?
