Hello everyone, I've been following Jamar Harris's case, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. It's incredibly unsettling to think about how gun violence is stealing away young lives. One thing that caught my attention is the role of the justice system in all this. Quinterrius Norman was out on bond for a separate shooting incident from 2017, which really makes you question judicial oversight in such cases. Is there a gap somewhere that allows potentially dangerous individuals to continue walking free? It must be incredibly frustrating for Jamar's loved ones to know he might still be alive if things had been handled differently. What do you all think about reforms or changes to prevent this kind of situation in the future? Please share any insights or thoughts. Stay safe, everyone!
I can't stop thinking about how young these kids were. Jamar Harris had his whole life ahead of him, and it's devastating that it ended this way. The fact that Quinterrius Norman was out on bond when this happened is infuriating. I understand the justice system has its processes, but it's frustrating to think that maybe this tragedy could have been prevented. My heart goes out to Jamar's family and friends. I can't imagine the pain they're going through, and I hope they find some comfort and support from the community. The ongoing violence in our city is so troubling, and something needs to change. How many more young lives have to be lost before we see real action?
Does anyone else find it absolutely chilling that Quinterrius Norman was still out on bond from that 2017 shooting? I can’t wrap my head around how someone with such a serious past charge was free to allegedly commit another violent act. It must be incredibly difficult for Jamar's family, knowing that this tragedy might have been preventable. My heart goes out to them. The systemic issues in terms of monitoring and sentencing seem evident here. Hoping this case sparks some discussions on how to keep communities safer. Would love to know if there’s been any word on potential legal reforms or changes in policy after this tragic event? The community really deserves answers and actionable changes.
